Mike is the Founder and Part Time Photographer and Roberta is our Co-Owner, Retouch Artist and Marketing Director

Heather House is a small, family-owned and operated studio commited to photographic excellence. Over thirty years ago Michael Hatcher established Heather House Studio, naming it after his daughter, Heather. Rachel Stephens - Photographer / Salesperson
Rachel has been with our studio for approximately six years. She has been in the photography business for ten years and contributes substantially to Heather House.

Rachel currently resides in Hanover County with her 10 year old son T.J, 2 year old toddler Gavin, and dog Max. Email Rachel at info@heatherhousestudio.com.

Cindy Reeder - Part Time Marketing Assistant
Cindy has been with Heather House since 2003. She is the daughter of Roberta and the stepdaughter of Mike. Cindy also assists us in sales, photography and retouching.

Cindy lives in Hanover County with her husband, Chuck, and 17 year old son, Tyler and their 5 dogs and 4 cats and one rabbit.

Amy McVaugh - Studio Coordinator

Amy joined the Heather House team in August of 2012. As studio coordinator, she ensures all portraits are processed in a timely manner and adhere to Heather House's strict quality standards. Her enthusiasm and great attitude are a real asset to our family at Heather House.

Amy is currently pursuing a Visual Arts degree and is enrolled in John Tyler Community College's Photography and Film Specialization program.

Amy lives in Powhatan and enjoys photography, writing, volunteering and spending time with her husband, daughter, and adorable grandchildren.
